Our story
A Legacy of Care, Rooted in Community
World Wide Automotive Service was founded in 1995 by Don and Melinda Seader with the goal of creating an automotive repair business centered around quality workmanship, customer relationships, and environmental responsibility.
After moving to Bloomington in 1990 for graduate studies at Indiana University, Don and Melinda combined their backgrounds in automotive repair, environmental management, and community involvement to build a shop centered around thoughtful service, long-term relationships, and environmental responsibility.
Over the years, World Wide Automotive Service became known throughout Bloomington and South Central Indiana for specialized European and Asian vehicle repair, thoughtful customer care, and long-term stewardship.
Today, World Wide Automotive Service continues as a family-owned business under the ownership of husband-and-wife team Paul Miller and Gillian Johnston, who are committed to building on the reputation, values, and customer relationships the shop has developed over the last three decades.

Our ASE-certified technicians specialize in European and Asian vehicles and receive ongoing training to stay current with today’s automotive technology. Using modern diagnostic equipment and advanced repair information systems, our team is equipped to accurately diagnose and repair everything from routine maintenance to complex electrical and drivability concerns.
Over the years, World Wide Automotive Service has earned ASE Blue Seal Facility recognition, as well as environmental and community recognition from organizations throughout Indiana. We continue to invest in technician education, diagnostic capability, and quality repair procedures to provide dependable service our customers can trust.
